The Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics, created by virtue of Act No. 209 of August 28, 2003, as amended, is currently in the process of formally establishing operations and proceeding to hire personnel and professional services. To that end, it informs the general public that it proposes to adopt two important regulations and makes available the following documents:

Important Notice - On October 17, 2007 the Puerto Rico Institute of Statistics publishes a NOTICE to inform the public that its Personnel Regulations and its Regulations Governing the Contracting of Professional Services are available for revision by interested parties. Anyone interested in submitting comments can do so within 30 days after the date of publication. See Notice.
